Existing Systems Evaluations

Current Systems Tune-Up
The system tune-up is for companies that want to evaluate if they are properly using computer and communication technology in their business and if other system alternatives are available to correct system deficiencies or to reduce operating costs. TCA will begin the tune-up by interviewing key staff members, vendors and customers. We will also review technology expenses and review current agreements to identify potential saving opportunities. Any system deficiencies or potential savings will be noted along with our recommendations. The cost of the service depends on the size and complexity of the systems involved, the number of locations and the number of interviews.

Cost Reduction Study
The Cost Reduction is aimed at companies that want to reduce the cost of using computers and communications technology in their organizations. TCA will begin the study by auditing service, maintenance and repair bills to determine if the bills are correct or if alternative vendor or services could be used. If necessary, traffic studies or other analytical methods will be employed to determine proper amount of facilities required to given service levels. Current costs will be documented along with the amount and methods to achieve estimated cost savings.

Technology Opportunity Study
The Technology Opportunity Study helps companies know how computer and communication technology can significantly enhance their business competitiveness by increasing sales, identifying new business opportunities or creating new markets for existing services. We will begin the Technology Opportunity Study by interviewing key staff members, vendors and customers. We also spend time observing operations and surveying customers and staff. Depending on the research complexity, focus groups could be deployed to determine customer perceptions and needs.
